Sno-Isle Library, Sultan WA Reading

Kara is reading at the Sno-Isle Library in Sultan, Washington. Sultan on the Skykomish River is at the souther end of Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe’s territory. Kara who is enrolled Sauk-Suiattle features stories from her tribe in Rivers in My Veins. Kara will read the epic poem Sauk-Suiattle Struggles in the library, which uses the Sultan City Council Chamber for events. The poem cycle is a land claim for the Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe. Kara will unofficially read it in the city record.
