The Bookstore in Haines Alaska is featuring a reading by Kara Briggs from Rivers in My Veins. Kara has tied through marriage to Haines and the Tlingits from the Chilkat Valley.

Kara is invited by Heritage University to share Rivers in My Veins with over 50 students and faculty from Heritage and from Yakama Tribal High School as part of celebrations for Native American Month.
